Dental Vision & Hearing

Medicare will not cover Dental care that you need primarily for the health of your teeth. For example Medicare will not cover routine checkups, cleanings or pay for you to get fillings. Medicare will never pay for dentures.

Medicare does not cover hearing aids, routine hearing exams, or fittings for hearing aids. This means that without other insurance you could pay 100% of the cost for routine hearing exams, fittings and hearing aids.

Medicare will not generally pay for routine eye care, but it will pay for some eye care services if you have a chronic eye condition, such as cataracts or glaucoma. There is no reimbursement for lenses or glasses with Medicare.

** Some Medicare Advantage plans cover routine dental, hearing and vision  services but these tend not to be comprehensive plans and you should check with your plan to see what services may be covered.

MALLOY ADVISORS has access to affordable Dental, Vision and Hearing insurance plans that are true insurance plans, not simply a discount program. These plans are designed for individuals age 18 to 89.
